That is impossible. There is no way to solve this question because we only have -4 to multiply 4 times. And in those 4 times multiplying, the negative number increases. So instead of going to 6, it goes farther back in the negatives.

Ok. To solve the question, we start from x=1.

$$3-(x+2)=2x-2\Rightarrow3-(1+2)=2*1-2$$

Now, do the parentheses in one side, and multiply in the other.

$$\\\\3-(1+2)=2*1-2\\\\=3-(3)=2-2$$

Now, do subtraction from both sides.

$$\\\\3-(3)=2-2\\\\=0=0$$
