why do the Americans go full lazy and take out the s in maths

Americans are very religions and they need to tell the difference between mass and maths so they leave off the s.

That's my theory anyway!    LOL

Because they want a cruel life. Everyone chooses their way of life. Sometimes, they don't understand something, and they never ask the teacher and have S's, and failure grades.
