Just look at the line of the graph.....where is it positive (above the x-axis)?
from -3 to 1 and from 4 to infinity (not inclusive....that means it is ZERO at -3 1 and 4 so those numbers are not included))
(-3,1) and (4, inf )
This is a cosine wave with amplitude 0.75 and the usual 2pi period
= .75 cos x
Sorry....looked at wrong info:
The amplitude is 1/2 of the height of the sinusoidal wave form (or the height from the midline of the wave)
this wave goes from 2.5 to -2.5 amplitude is 2.5
4 + 7x -2 isnt equivalent
The top is closed per the question....but it does not say if it is the same material as the bottom.....just states BOTTOM is 3/sqft.....
I'm glad you got an answer! I got stuck when I tried top made of same material as sides and only bottom at $3/sqft. ~EP
2z^2 = 38
z^2 = 19
z = + - sqrt 19
April Fool's Day !
20/120 x 93 = 15.5 pounds
Short side length
sqrt (2^2 + 2^2) = sqrt 8
Long side length sqrt (3^2 + 3^2) = sqrt(18)
Area = sqrt 8 x sqrt 18 = sqrt 144 = 12 sq units
Is this it?
