1) 8x2 - 72 = 0 

    x2 - 9 = 0

    x2 = 9

    x = ± 3

3) \(25x^2 + 20x = 6\)

    \(25x^2 + 20x - 6 = 0\)

    \(x^2 + \frac{4}{5}x - \frac{6}{25} = 0\)

    \(x^2 + \frac{4}{5}x + \frac{4}{25} - \frac{4}{25} - \frac{6}{25} = 0\)

    \((x + \frac{2}{5})^2 - \frac{10}{25} = 0\)

    \((x + \frac{2}{5})^2 = \frac{10}{25}\)

    \(x + \frac{2}{5} = \frac{\sqrt{10}}{5}\)

    \(x = -\frac{2 ± \sqrt{10}}{5}\)

 

4) \(4x^2 + 6x = 8\)

    \(4x^2 + 6x - 8 = 0\)

    \(x = {-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} \over 2a}\)

    \(x = {-(6) \pm \sqrt{(6)^2-4(4)(-8)} \over 2(4)}\)
