It's named Algebra Word Problem I posted it like 20 min ago

There are 50 multiples of 8 between 100 - 500

I know you are the same guy from like the problem two minutes ago so utilize these three steps. 

1. Find first multiple of 8 in 100-500  = 104

Now there are 396 numbers from 104-500 

2. Find how many multiples of 8 are in 396 = 49

3. Add 1 (first multiple) = 49+1

Idea - find LCD of denominators 

6[\(\frac{x-1}{3}- \frac{x-1}{2} = -7 \)]

2x - 2 - 3x + 3 = -42

-x + 1 = -42                                        \(\left \{ 43 \right \}\)

      -1     -1

-x=-43

x = 43 

Crazy way of doing this, 

16*6=96

96+6=102

100/6= 16 (whole number wise) 

Now, add                                                     This represents ? multiples of 6

102                                                              1

96                                                                16

96                                                                16

96                                                                16

96                                                                16

6                                                                  1

6                                                                  1

=498

There are 67 multiples of 6 in 100-500

Just some food for thought... 

To answer this question wouldn't it refer to how much the weight changes over the arm after B is elevated one inch?

You can't simplify that... unless that's not what the question is asking

I agree, but I always put parentheses around mine, especially when you get to the complicated order of operations topics and pre-algebra and above that.
