I am not 100% as I am learning about this too so here I go. a=1-r is the decay formula a=1-.1=.9 .9^12=.282429=.28 rounded to two decimal places. I raised the.9 to the 12th because there are 12 months in 1 year. Do you have multiple attempts? 

a. 10yrs=1 decade so, 1.34 to the 1/10 gives you 1.03 {1.34^1/10}=1.03 YEARLY GROWTH FACTOR

 3.93 x1.03^y FORMULA

b. 1.34^10=18.67 CENTURY GROWTH FACTOR=18.67

so 3.93 x 18.67^c FORMULA You raise the 1.34 by 10 because there are 10 decades in 1 century.  

I typed about that in the problem when I typed ps. But thanks for posting anyway. 

That would be correct because the answer was .34. Where were you sooner?! lol Im kidding, thank you though!!

Awesome, thank you! That is how we did it in class but I get confused when it asks for years and months. 

They are both incorrect, the first one was .34 and the second one is incorrect. I have one more attempt. 

Thanks so much! Also how did you know to multiply by 100? I see that you suibtracted 1. Is that the decay formula a=1-r?

I haven't tried because I don't think it is correct and this is my last attempt. 

Is that one about the 25% question? Where you answered 0.03?
