x2(6+1) + ((28) - (15) - (6x) - 2)
7x2 + (11 - 6x)
7x2 - 6x + 11
Wasn't sure whether 7x4 is 28x or 28, specify whether you are multiplying or multiplying with an "x".
This graph might help explain:
1.25 = 1 dose
40 = ?
40/1.25 = 32
1 dose x 32 = 32 doses
Hope this helps
f(-2) is negative, so use the x < 0 equation: 2(-2) = -4
f(-1) is also negative, so: 2(-1) = -2
f(0) goes with the x > 0 side, which would be: (0) + 7 = 7
f(1) and f(2) are the same as f(0), so it would be (1) + 7, (2) + 7
If f(x) = 3x - 8, then ...
f(2x) = 3(2x) - 8
2f(x) = 2(3x - 8)
Look at the graph. (-4) and (6) are the ends of the line. This means that x is inbetween these numbers. To graph the inequality, we need to graph each one seperately. From (-4), we see that x > -4. From 6, we see that x < 6. It should be very simple from there.
10x - 21 = 8x + 1
2x = 22
x = 11
8(11) + 1 + z = 180
89 + z = 180
z = 91
...or think of a pythagorean triple
Ill give you some hints:
sqrt(45) = sqrt(9*5) = 3 sqrt(5)
sqrt(36) = 6
sqrt(27) = sqrt(3*3*3) = 3 sqrt(3)
sqrt(18) = sqrt(9*2) = 3 sqrt(2)
sqrt(9) = 3
It should be easy from here, just plug in the simplified version in for the unsimplifiied, and then you will see what to do from there!
no problem!
lol, but very true indeed...
