Sine, Cosine and Tangent are the main functions used in Trigonometry and are based on a Right-Angled Triangle. Before getting stuck into the functions, it helps to give a name to each side of a right triangle: "Opposite" is opposite to the angle θ "Adjacent" is adjacent (next to) to the angle θ. Does that help? whymenotsmart^m^.
fine, I'll give it a try, I think the answer is 2009, because all terms that are multiples of 7 are NOT in the list, so 2009 is the smallest multiple of 7 that is greater than 2004 (2(mod 7)).
this is clearly an AoPS question.
For the function described by: The amplitude of the function is 9, the vertical shift is 11 units down, and the period of the function is 12π/7 y = 9cos(7x/6) - 11
Hope this helps, whymenotsmart^m^.
Well, since x = 10 dollar shirts
Then:
661 - x = 12 dollar shirts
10x + 12 (661-x) + 378 = 12x + 10(661-x)
10x +7932 - 12x + 378 = 12x +6610 -10x
So: x = 425 shirts at $10

also, like half of the users that have high points around 1000 or so just ask questions most of the time, and their answers are just like "This is wrong" or "Try again, thanks for the help, though!" You, hugo are the few people who actually are smart and respond to people's questions!
oh....
