I got the same answer. 

There are 2 solutions to the quadratic...

(x-4i)(x-3i)

so the solutions are 

4i and 3i

The forumla to find the sum of the geometric series is...

A/(1-r)

where A is the first term...

r = the common ratio

you can plus everything in and you'll get.....

2/(1-3/5)

2/2/5

2 x 5/2

10/2

5

The sum of the infinite geometric series is 5

The graphs of x^2-2x+y^2+10y=0. Find the radius of this circle.

We can start this off by completing the square to get it into the general formula,

[(x-1)^2-1] + [(y+5)^2-25] = 0

(x-1)^2 + (y+5)^2 = 26

the formula for the graph of a circle is...

(x-h)^2 + (x-k)^2 = r^2

r^2 = radius^2

r^2 = 26

r = sqrt(26)

If there is then here is the solution,

If you expand the expression you get,

[x^2 -4x +4] + [x^3 +6x^2 + 12x + 8]

you can simplify this even more...

x^3 + 7x^2 +8x + 12

you basically multiply all of the coefficents of x so....

1 x 7 x 8 = 56

you dont mulitply eight becasue it is not a coefficient of x.

I don't really understand what you are asking but...

if x is 50 and y 1 and the ratio is x:y 

then is y is equal to 8  you get 

50x8 = 400

You can break up the two Figure  into 2 Shapes....

The first one is...

28x28 = 724 

The Second one is 

56x14 = 724

You can get the total area by adding these..

724 + 724 = 1448
