Expand the product (x - 2)^2  (x + 2)^3. What is the product of the nonzero coefficients of the resulting expression, including the constant term?

Is there a plus between the 2 polynomials.

If there is then here is the solution,

If you expand the expression you get,

[x^2 -4x +4] + [x^3 +6x^2 + 12x + 8]

you can simplify this even more...

x^3 + 7x^2 +8x + 12

you basically multiply all of the coefficents of x so....

1 x 7 x 8 = 56

you dont mulitply eight becasue it is not a coefficient of x.
