The area of the square surrounding the circle = 4r^2 = 100 ...... where r is the radius of the circle ........thus r = 5
The area of the surrounded circle = pi * r^2 = 25pi
The area of the square inscribed in this circle = 2r^2 = 2(25) = 50
So......the ratio of the area of the circle to the area of the inscribed square = 25pi / 50 = pi / 2
