Multiplication/Division
Addition/Subtraction
First, do what's in the parenthases, if any.
Then, solve exponents (again, only if there are any).
Then, do multiplication and division (but do it left to right).
Example of Multiplcation and Division...
10 / 1 * 5
In this case, you would do division first, and you read equations left to right, so you would do 10 /1 and then that times 5.
Then an do addition/subtraction (same rules as multiplication and division).
You can remember the order PEMDAS with the mnemonic device:
