qps = qpr + rps
107 = (9x-115) + (4x+27)
107 = 9x -115+ 4x + 27
195 = 13x x = 15 qpr = 9x - 115 = 20 o
Fo = 9/5 C + 32
and we want C = F put in C for F (or F for C)
C = 9/5 C + 32
-32 = 4/5 C
C = (-32)(5/4) = -40
This irregular figure is made of two triangles one if 4x 7 area = 1/2 4x 7
other is 7 x 7 area = 1/2 7 x 7
and a rectangle which is 7 x 14 units^2
Add the REDs for the total area ........ units2
I HAVE been here for a buh-jillion years..... and have made about that many mistakes too !
Hang in there !
Number of stairs = n when divided by 4 remainder = 3
5 remainder = 2
n> 10
Let's start by looking at the 5 remainder 2 = 12 17 22 27 32
27 divided by 4 leaves a reamiander of 3
Part B CD = 8.6 in
Part C triangle ends (two of them) two x 1/2 x 3 x 4 in^2
Back rectangle 3 x 8.6 in^2
Bottom 4 x 8.6 in^2
Slanted rectangle 5 x 8.6 in^2
Add the REDs = ......... in2
\(x = {-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} \over 2a}\) In you question a = 3 b = 9 c = -13
\(x = {-9 \pm \sqrt{9^2-4(3)( -13)} \over 2(3)}\)
Thought I did....
here is more.... the sticker takes up 2 1/2 inches of 3 3/4 inches leaving 1 1/4 inches not covered by sticker
divide this 1 1/4 inches in two .... this will be the amount of space on each side of the sticker to the edge 1 1/4 / 2 = 5/4 / 2 = 5/8 inch
3c + 5 - 4c = (3c-4c) +5 = - c+5 or 5-c
a+b has to equal t
a*b has to equal - 9
-9 1
9 -1
3 -3
-3 3 two of these are repeats so 9 , -1 and 3, -3 these add together to make t = 8 or 0 summed = 8
