113 to the power of 3?
Or is that just an accident
VOLUME=pi*r^2*h
(h=height)
(r=radius)
diameter=6 so radius=3
pi*radius^2= 9pi (keep it exact to avoid chances of error)
Times that by the height=9pi*4=36pi
Convert=113
Thanks for that. :)
A lot more concrete than what ive come up with
-3-12=-15
-15/6=-2.5
Or you could just time by 4
This question requires you to work out 85% of 600.
To do this you times 600 by 0.85.
You get: 510
510 flights are expected to arrive on time.
Yes, thanks for that.
However i am still stuck on the answer.
The question says that there are more than one possible combination of liars and truthtellers
First you have to be careful about the different changes in measurement here.
To be on the safe side i converted everything to grams.
So:
1080 grams of fertiliser.
0.097*3=0.291
1080/0.291=3711.34...
So he can fertilise 3711 plants
Impressive!!!
x^2-4x=11
First you take away the 11 so you have a quadratic.
x^2-4x-11=0
Now you factorise.
Since 11 is a prime number we shall have to use the quadratic equation:
a=1
b=-4
c=-11
Your two possible solutions are:
x=5.87....
or
x=-1.87....
