The AREA the cylinder covers is   pi r^2    multiply this times the HEIGHT to get VOLUME

pi (3^2) x 4 = 113.04 cm^3

113 to the power of 3?

Or is that just an accident

VOLUME=pi*r^2*h

(h=height)

(r=radius)

diameter=6 so radius=3

pi*radius^2= 9pi (keep it exact to avoid chances of error)

Times that by the height=9pi*4=36pi

Convert=113

In college your answer will be considered WRONG if you don't include units ...you MAY get PARTIAL CREDIT though.....put 'em in there!
