Oder hast du vielleicht gemeint: 40 € * 10 % ( 10% von 40 € ) ?
$${\mathtt{40}}{euro}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{\mathtt{10}}\% = {\mathtt{4}}{euro}$$ 40 € * 10/100 = 40 € * 0,1 = 4 €
