Although the experimental probability shows that playing at home gives a certain edge, mathematically the events "winning" and playing at home are completely independent since the 2 events are not linked whatsoever. Just take the example of flipping a dye. The probability of getting a Head = 1/2. If after 1000 flips you get a head, the probability of getting a Head on the 1001 flips is always 1/2 (head & tail are independent)
Im not much help i havent taken stats or whatever this is, but i do remember for problems like this you can refer to independent variables. x per a month and so.
See i was doing this exact thing, but why does that formula have the (4), where does it come from? Other than thanks for the break down, i was trying to figure this out, and if it wasnt for that for it would have been fine. cause no matter what i put in it it, i was getting answer of 1.
PEMDAS, parentheis first, you get 3
Then we have 6/2(3)
You use a rule where you flip them when encountering a fraction
So i did this
6/2 x 1/3 = 6/6 = 1
Any constand has a value of (1) in the denomintaor, we just cant see it.
34 is the answer, cause when you add 3 and 4 you get 34
lenght or width?
upload a picture and i will tell you
After you get the answer, try looking at different rules. This stuff will catch you by suprise, as some college teachers like to bring in out of to test.
Okay i understand, thanks
How are you getting the 13?
