Let S be the number of years in a score....so we have

1963 - 1863 = 5S    simplify

100 = 5S       divide both sides by 5

20 = S     ...  thus, there are 20 years in a score

And   60 / 20  = 3 score

It's just 1 followed by 23 zeroes

-(x - 1) = 5   simplify

-x + 1  = 5    subtract 1 from both sides

-x = 4           which implies that x = -4

Therefore   -4x =  -4(-4) = 16

So we have

√(n - 1) =  ⁸√ n      

Here's the graphical solution to this using x instead of n

1 = (-42/5)+ b    add (-42/5) to both sides

1 + 42/5 = b

[5 + 42 ] / 5  = b  = 47/5

Use the tangent inverse on the calculator

Hit the "2nd" button, then the "atan" button, then key in your value and then hit the "=" key......

300 million = 3 x 10⁸

So we have

[1 x 10⁹ ] / [ 3 x 10⁸ ] =

(1/3) X 10   =  about 3 numbers per person

If you're referring to trailing zeroes....

The top number has 40 + 8 + 1 = 49 trailing zeroes

The bottom number has 24 + 4  = 28 trailing zeroes

So, the final result will have  [49 - 28]  = 21 trailing zeroes.....!!!!
