I'm assuming you mean there are two groups with 8 books in each group, so since one of the groups has three math books in it that means there are 5 science books... because 8-3=5. If you mean there are 8 books split into 2 groups, then there is only 1 science book... because 8/2=4 and 4-3=1. 

Math is here to progress the knowledge, technology and understanding of the universe of humanity... and also to cause stress to adolescents so that more money is spent on health care and other things that we are convinced we need because of the media so that the economy of the country and government grows.
