Find the current speed of voyager 1 and 2. (google)

Find the current distance right now (google)

Now, find the amount of time that has elapsed between Janurary 2, 2009 and right now.

Then do some maths

Hint: Take the elapsed time, multiply by the speed, and the subtract that from the current distance

My teacher taught in the same way as you did, Melody. But I personally use the Table Method

#50 means plugging into the formula 0.5(n)+1

So 0.5(50) + 1 = 26

THe question asks #(#(#50))

So you do #50 first, giving an answer of 26.

Then you do #26, which is 14

Then you do #14, which the answer is 8.
