Ok lets get down to this.
I don't think you can do anything with remainders on decimals but you can use it on fractions and then convert them.
For example,
\(\frac{8}{5}\)
The answer would be...
1 remainder 3
So, you can put that into a fraction...
\(7\frac{1}{5}\)
Then convert it to a decimal...
\(\frac{36}{5} = 7.2\)
