y = mx + b ...so.....
y = (-3/4) x + (3/7)
2f(3) says to put 3 into the function and multiply the result by 2
3f(-3) says to put -3 into the function and multiply the result by 3
Then just add the two above results together
Post back if you have trouble with this.....
c-7<3 add 7 to both sides
c < 10
(3/7) / (2/5) change to multiplication and "flip" the second fraction
(3/7) * (5/2) = 15 / 14
The cosine function only returns values from -1 to 1. Thus, your wanting to find an angle whose cosine = 3.......that angle doesn't exist.....
I don't know what kind of calculator you're using, but many have an ex key. If so, just type in "1" and hit that key.......you should see 2.718......then add that to 34 and take the ln of the result....
13/20 = 65% of the original cost......so...the discount price is 35% off the original cost
1) (8L x 2.5g/L) x 75 / 100 = 15g
2) Price / (Lbs) = Price per pound
1.49 / (1/4) = 5.96 and 2.19 / (3/8) = 5.84
The second one is the better deal
3) 3.50 / (2/3) = 5.25 4.20 / (3/4) = 5.60
325*ln (2t + e) and we're sustituting 17 for "t"......so we have
325*ln (2*17 + e) =
325* ln (34 + e) note, 34 + e = 36.7182818284590452.....so....
325* ln (36.7182818284590452) and ln (36.7182818284590452) = 3.603274773493579695 .......so.....
325 * 3.603274773493579695 = 1171.064301385413400875 = 1171
Does that help ???
So...we want to solve
9= c(2)^3 - 9(2) + 3
9 = 8c - 18 + 3
9 = 8c - 15 add 15 to both sides
24 = 8c divide by 8 on both sides
3 = c
