Triangle ABC is similar to triangle PQR.

So, because of the way the triangles are named:

AB is to PQ as AC is to PR.

9 is to 15 as 12 is to PR

Cmon, you posted it 30 mins ago..I answered 28 mins ago..That only leaves me 2 minutes to copy the question, open a new tab, go to google, paste the question, scroll around until I find somewhere with an answer, read the answer, go BACK to the other tab, click "Post New Answer," type the answer, and click "Show Preview," AND FINALLY click "Publish Answer."

That is a ton of steps, there's no way I had enough time to do all that.

I think you need to try squaring both sides.

Like this:

Type:

(a^b) / (x^y)

If you want to do:

Type:

Slope-intercept form is

y = mx + b

We want to get the y by itself on one side of the equation.

First let's subtract 6y from both sides.

-6y = 18x – 2

Next let's divide both sides by -6.

y = (18 / -6)x - (2 / -6)

y = -3x + 1/3

...The last instructions are kind of confusing to me, but I think that is the answer you're after. :)
