People at Purdue University actually answered this question, and there were 2 different values that were given

When using a licking machine (yes, they created a licking machine just for this), it took an average of 364 licks.

When using twenty human volunteers and their tongues, it took an average of 252 licks.

So, there's some variation, but it's somewhere between 252 and 364 licks.
