An excellent answer anonymous
This might be easier Tetration
(x-2)/(x+4)-5/6=0
$$\frac{x-2}{x+4}=\frac{5}{6}$$
(You should be aware that x cannot equal -4)
Multiply both sides by 6(x+4) That will get rid of all the fractions.
6(x-2)=5(x+4)
6x-12=5x+20
x=32
7*(-4)^3+2/(-4)^2
=7*-64+2/16
=-448+1/8
=-447 and 7/8
If you mean
26,000*(1+(0.043)*(5/3))
you can just type it into the calc on the home page. :)
Don't do that Rosala that would be terrible - talk to me please
Well now aren't we in a narky, playful mood today :))
You made me giggle Rosala. Thank you :)
We got different answers Rosala.
Can you work out who got what wrong?
2*(x+4)-((1-(3*x))^2)
$$\\(1-(3*x))^2\\ =(1-3x)^2\\ =1-6x+9x^2\\$$
2(x+4)-(1-6x+9x2)
=2x+8-1+6x-9x2
= -9x2+8x+7
