Not quite Saseflower (the points are for having a go )
find x when f(x)=29
f(x)=-9x + 2
$$\\29=-9x+2\\ 27=-9x\\ \frac{27}{-9}=x\\ -3=x\\ x=-3$$
Your fraction bust is great Saseflower but then you went a little astray
$$\\\frac{x}{3}+ \frac{x}{2} = 1\\\\ 6*\left(\frac{x}{3}+ \frac{x}{2}\right) = 6*1\\\\ \frac{6x}{3}+ \frac{6x}{2} = 6\\\\ 2x+ 3x = 6\\\\ 5x=6\\\\ x=\frac{6}{5}\\\\ x=1\frac{1}{5}\\\\$$
It depends what you are talking about but "standard form" means "scientific notation".
[It is an English (the country) term]
Standard form of a line is Ax+By=C
Here are some standard forms
http://www.mathsisfun.com/algebra/standard-form.html
$$10^{12}$$
That is a 1 followed by 12 zeros
$$\sqrt{20}=\sqrt{4*5}=2\sqrt5 this is approx equal to 4.4721$$
Not quite noob
$$1.425*10^7$$
$$\\(3p^2q)^3(2pq^2)^4\\\\ 3^3(p^2)^3q^3*2^4p^4(q^2)^4\\\\ 27p^6q^3*16p^4q^8\\\\ 27*16p^{10}q^{11}\\\\ 432p^{10}q^{11}\\\\$$
$$\frac{x}{2}*3=\frac{x}{2}*\frac{3}{1}=\frac{3x}{2}$$
you need to show us an example.
Please think about your answer Gar -
you have said that 1/2 = 1/3 = 1/6
Can that be correct I do not think so!
See it this is any good :)
