this is algebra 2 work lol its never that simple XD
does mit give you options for the correct answer? beacuse i believe i found it
well we know that the length of KJ is 10 heres a start
1b.) if you were to walk averaging 4 mph and you are only a mile from home divide 60( #of min in an hour) by 4(mph) to get 15(min of walking time)
1a.) the time a train goes by is 15 min you heard one 3 min ago so subtract that to get 12 min waiting time then add the actual 8 min ride home to gert a tyotal of 20 mins to get home
5b+4 because there are 4 MORE than the amount in the baskets so there are 5 tables but we dont know the total amount of strawberries so the answer would be 5b+4
if your solving to combine the two equations into one you would write them on top of each other like this
8x+y=-16
-3x+y=5
then you would combine like terms straight down to get
5x+2y=-11
no need to apologize lol
i dont remeber exactly but the looked like x=wy+y-1 or +1 +2 -2 or with -y so idk how to solve it XD
ninjadevo i thought the same thing no matter how i solve it i dont get any of the options that are given to me
