OK....did you get the correct answer to that one??
The area of the table before the boards are inserted is
pi(d/2)^2 where d is the diameter...so we have
pi(4/2)^2 = pi (2)^2 = 4pi ft^2
The area of one of the boards is 4 x (1+1/2) = 4(3/2) = 6 ft ^2
And there are two of them.....so this makes 12 ft^2
So....the total area with the boards inserted is just
(4pi + 12) ft ^2
We can use the change-of-base rule to solve this......
We have
log (1/343) / log(7)
You should be able to finish this.....
2(x3−5x2+11x)−45=2x3−5(2x2+4x)+165 simplify
2x3 - 10x2 + 22x - 45 = 2x3 - 10x2 - 20x + 165 subtract/add 2x3, 10x2 to both sides
22x - 45 = -20x + 165 add 45 and 20 x to both sides
42x = 210 divide both sides by 42
x = 5
Try this maybe ???......https://www.facebook.com/help/213395615347144/
The apothem is given by (√3/2)s .... where s is the side length.......
Note that we can only have an odd number of nickels...
Thus
1, 3, 5, 7, 9 work
Five ways.....!!!!
Nice, heureka......the solution is easy.....figuring out how to get there is the hard part....!!!!!
Hey, Mathematician.....if you really want the "definitive" answer to your question....send it to kitty<3......she's the real "English pro" on here.......if she doesn't know......no one does......
Mathematician, you don't really need the word "overall," anyway.
"Most students buy their lunch from the cafeteria."
"Most" implies "overall."
"Overall" is superfluous language.
P.S.......that's as much as I know about the English language........
