Ok dividing 0.003% this is the same as multiplying by 33,333.33...

This is not what you would do to answer the question you asked.

You need to multiply it

7394285000 * 0.00003 = 221,829

That is way less people than were here in 10,000 BCE

This is y intercepts because the y is set to zero. This have 2 answers and the answers are where the parabola cross the X axis when y=0.

This is almost zero.

Not a good way to take a test

Wow I get 19 points for a wrong answer?  CPhill give me 5 so 2 others give me 5 each and one give me 4.  And the guest who get it right not get any. Hahaha I not know why that is funny but it is.

My teacher would give me a big fat ZERO for this hog slop. Well maybe he give one point.  He not put up with wrong answers much.  One time a student was complaining because the teacher give him 1 point on a 10 point question. He put the right number down but he have the wrong sign.  So Mr. Addink says ok I’ll put down 10 points then mark the sign so you will have negative 10. Would you prefer that? He not prefer it at all. Hahaha

Next come the air resistance. All the (hot) air will make the equation twice as long and 4 times as hard to figure out.  hahaha

This is interesting.  I was looking at your graph and I sure the answer is right but the graph do not show what really happen. The graph show a slowdown of the gravity it do not show the package going higher.

How would do you write the  equation to show the package going higher then coming down?

OK CPhill this is the equation I get. It is a quadratic so it will have 2 answers. Right?

0 m = 0.5(-9.8 m/s^2)t^2 + (2.50 m/s)t + 145m

Our equations are the same so this is probably right. 

Actually CPhill it do make a difference. The package is moving up at 2.5 meters per second when it leave the helicopter. So it continue to move as gravity slows it down then it stop and goes down so it is higher up when it starts down. I not figure out how to do that yet. But I working on it :)
