someone can help me with this algebraic expression.rather, it is a succession. I do not understand anything:)
$$a_n=n^2+1$$
The first term is n=1 $$a_1=1^2+1=2+1=3$$
The next term is n=2 $$a_2=2^2+1=4+1=5$$
The next term is n=3 $$a_3=3^2+1=9+1=10$$
see how I am just substituting in the position of the term that I want to get the actual term :)
ver cómo sólo estoy sustituyendo en la posición del término que quiero que el término actual :
So
$$a_n=n^2+1$$
represents the sequence 3,5,10 etc
