If zac and I include the bottom OF COURSE  the  SA of the sphere will be less than the surface are of the two hemispheres.  The middle will not be included!

If you have a brick and you cut it in to 2 half bricks, the combined surface area of the 2 half bricks if greater than the surface area of the original brick!

It does not take a brain surgeon to work that out.

Just as well because we don't have any brain surgeons around here DO WE !!

Perhaps you should go play with your cousins.  They look lonely.

Are you going to do anything with these tallys or are you just aimlessly filling in time?

Multiply both sides by 2500 and then do it on the calc 

Look in the formulary tab at the top of your page.

You cannot simplify this

You can factorise the bottom into  (x-5)(x+2)   but that does not help.

Sometimes I lose a whole page of LasTex too.  

I know it is extremely frustrating.    

Those are just normal questions.  If they are easy that is good, I just want to get a better idea of what you can do on your own, that's all.
