Only  the remainder is of any interest to us.  6 is g

My response is to the previous guest answerer of the lottery ticket question.

Your question is ambiguous. If you want the formula for determining your odds of winning the first prize, then that is easy. If you selected 6 numbers out of 50, then your chances of winning the first prize are: nCr=50!/(50-6)! 6!=15,890,700. Your chances of winning the first prize are 1 in 15,890,700.

If you buy 6 tickets and there are only 50 tickets altogether then your chances of winning first prize is  6/50.
