Very interesting question. No high level maths required.
This question was posted a couple of days ago.

I think it is really interesting. It looks much more difficult than it really needs to be.

Some guidelines for question askers.
Please note:
1) Ask only one question per post.
2) When asking a question talk about what you have tried for yourself. Then people will take you more seriously and will be more able and willing to help.
3) If you get an answer

-15x^4 / 3x^9
There are no negative exponents in the question. An exponent is a power.
= (-15/3) * ( x
4
/x
9
)
= -5 * (1/x
5
)
= -5 / x
5
OR
= (-15/3) * ( x
4
/x
9
)
= -5 * x
-5
= -5 * (1/x
5
)
= -5 / x

I think this is Albanian, this is the Google translation
"Verify that the congruent triangles, congruent angles pergjysmoret the segments are congruent."
I am sorry Eliza but this does not appear to be a whole question. Some of it is missing.
Also, "pergjysmoret" did not translate at all. It means nothing in English. Sorry.

Negative 4 over 3 divided by negative 1
-4/3 divided by -1
a negative divided by a negative is positive
and
anything divided by 1 stays the same
so
=4/3
= 1 and a third

by looking at the graph or by using calculus.
first derivative = 0
second derivative >0 for minima
second derivative <0 for maxima
If second derivative =0 you have to think some more.

My interpretation
You have started with a right angles isosceles triangle with an hypotenuse of 12foot
Now you want to extend the 'hypotenuse' by 10 feet so it no longer will be a right angled triangle.
Now the answer will depend on whether you are extending from just one end or a some from both ends.

How did you enter the divide by sign?

I'll show you with an example
5.3*10
12
* 6.9*10
-7
= 5.3*6.9*10
12
*10
-7
= 36.57 * 10
(12+-7)
= 3.657 * 10
1
* 10
5
= 3.657 * 10
6
OR, you could just do it on your calcuator.
