hi MeteorShower and welcome to web2.0calc forum
My answer might look a bit long but it is worth your while to work through it.
you have 3010 tickets and there will be 14 concerts.
Each concert has the same number of tickets.
----------------------
Let's think about another easier problem first.
You have 10 lollies and you want to divide them between 5 children.
2+2+2+2+2=2 x 5=10 so they get 2 lollies each.
How can you put 10 and 5 together to get 2?
10 divided by 5 =2
10 lollies divided between 5 children = 10 ÷ 5 = 2
------------------------------
NOW for your problem.
3010 tickets divided between 14 concerts must be 3010÷14=215 tickets for each concert
CHECK
215 x 14 = 3010 That is right. Excellent!
