Hey Melody2.
Are you trying to increase the pitch of something without changing the speed or trying to change both the pitch and the speed?
If you are doing the above, then something like Audacity should be able to do this for if its for a sound file.

=1/8 - ((-32)^(1/5))^(-4)

=1/8 - (-2)^(-4)

=1/8 - 1/16

=1/16

when you give your post a subject title it is better to use a more descriiptive one.

Ally has baked an apple pie and wants to sell it in her bakery. She’s going to cut into 12 slices and sell them individually. She wants to sell it for three times the cost of making it. The ingredients cost $8.50, and she allowed $1.25 to cover the cost of electricity to bake it. Find the values of each of the following questions:

1.what is the amount alley will charge for each slice of pie?
2.What is the total amount she won’t gross if she sells the entire pie? I assume you mean will
3.What will be the profit if she sells the entire pie?

The questions are in a funny order
First work out how much the cake costs to make altogether
then multiply by 3 to get the total amount she wants to sell the cake for (this is the gross amount)
then divide by 12 to get the sale price of each slice.
Then the profit is just the total sale price - the total cost of making the cake.

this means that you can never express it exactly as a decimal (not even as a recurring decimal)
and
you can't express it exactly as a fraction either.
