Very interesting question. No high level maths required.
This question was posted a couple of days ago.

I think it is really interesting. It looks much more difficult than it really needs to be.

Some guidelines for question askers.
Please note:
1) Ask only one question per post.
2) When asking a question talk about what you have tried for yourself. Then people will take you more seriously and will be more able and willing to help.
3) If you get an answer

x/9 = 8/12 I dont understand this or 1/4 x= 6
x/9 = 8/12
Write these fractions upright.
Now you need to get rid of the 9 on the left hand side so if you multiply by 9/1 it will cancel out.
If you multiply the left by 9/1 you have to multiply the right side by 9/1 as well.
x/9 * 9/1 = 8/12 * 9/1
x = 72/12
x = 6
The other one is similar , you will need to multiply both sides by 4
This you tube clip may help you.
I think you should look at it.

why don't you understand it? I could answer better if I understood your problem better.
you have to do the brackets first
then you do times and divide - they are equally important just do them from, left to right. The fraction line is a divide sign. (1/2 = 1 divided by 2 : they are the same thing)
last you do the addition
so you should have the question and 3 lines of working.
Show me your working now and I will tell you if it is correct.
Or , if you just do it on the calculator exactly as it is written you will get the correct answer.

How can you add brackets in this question?
5x3-2x10-3=47
I just realised what your question really was sorry, I got a bit carried away.
maybe just
5x3 - 2x10 -3 = 47
5x3 -3 -2x10 = 47
5x3 - 1x3 -2x10 = 47
5 lots of 3 takeaway 1 lot of 3 = (5-1) lot of 3 = 3 lots of (5-1) = 3 x (5-1)
5x3 - 1x3 -2x10 = 47
3 x (5-1) - 2 x10 = 47
Is that more what you had in mind?

How can you add brackets in this question?
5x3-2x10-3=47
do you mean 5x^3 - 2x^10 - 3 = 47 ?
If you want to factorise properly you would change it to
You'd change it to 2x^10 - 5x^3 +50 = 0
then look for factors.
The only possible rational factors are +- ( 1,2,5,25,50,0.5,2.5, 12.5) Using rational root theorem
Using remainder theorem I can see that;
no minus one will work so that halves the possibilities
2 or bigger won't work
1 doesn't work
0.5 doesn't work
so there are no rational roots so I can't factorise
However, I suppose you could say
5x^3 - 2x^10 - 3 = 47
x^3(5 - 2x^7) = 50
It wouldn't be very useful for anything but it does have brackets and it is true.

Translation
Why the calculator is not available in several languages and so only in English? Because personally, it would be much more understandable if the calculator had been programmed in several languages.
Yes, I think non-English speaking people often have to be much cleverer than people who speak English as a first language do.
Sometimes the impediments don't seem fair or necessary.
I sympathise with you.
I hope this translates well.
