does he mean like finding the value of k and then putting the answer as $\frac{5^2}{8}$

or do u mean square root/ just (x²). (x = any number/ coefficients etc)

can u write this equation in the latex thingy so i can understand more clearly

yea i got the same answer but if u want the answer as a whole then either the value of a is wrong or u wrote the wrong equation
