well its not the concept, ive solved all the other questions but ive tried cracking these multiple times by reading the explanation but i couldnt understand it , i thought maybe you guys could give me another point of view. 

is there a way i can upload the image here?

every times i try to do it , it somehow just shows me to keep uploading the image even after ive selected it and when i do it the image doesnt appear....

CPhill, in 3rd one, why have you repeated "10" , lets see it like this..

now we have 9 choices for the 1000th digit. (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9)

next, after we have 5 choices for the ones place digit ( 0,2,4,6,8)

so now for the 100th place, we only have left 8 choices to choose from.

i thought that to made a no. divisible by 2 , only the last digit has to be even..? is that not true?

so that way we'll have 7 choices for the 10th position...

if we do it by 9*10*10*5

arent we repeating the digits?

the answer that youve given to question no. 1 , thats not the answer thats present in my book. the answer to it is (x-1 )^x  - 1 , my doubt in this was that why are we subtracting one here? the (x-1)^x ca efro forula (n)^r.

2.oh Melody i feel bad to have troubled you for this problem , i was just making 2 silly mistakes. but couldnt see them,thank you for  the answer and explanation.
