Someone please correct me if I am wrong but I belive the equation should be set up like this - tan(33)=7000/x
0.649407593198=7000/x
x=10779.0547466939433696
and then simplify it too x = 10,779feet :)

Rosala you put in the wrong numbers. You have k=6 and z=-2 when it is supost to be k=-2 and z=6 :) check again to see if I am wrong or not :P
