Can you explain where the 4x came from please thanks very much
so to solve the system should i use simultaneous equation?
i solved it with my graphical calculator but i believe i am expected to show some working out and i cant do 4 at once yet

WOW i did 3r^2 + 6r^2 = 8r^2 LOL

if the question is find z because im not sure,
z^3 = -8
(-2)^3 = -8
therefore z = -2
oh right i forgot the - sign haha thank you for helping.

A wildguess, so by using the two coordinates i can calculate the gradient and by that i should be able to work out the x intersection between the two points which mean i can workout my other intersection in my new graph?
