If you multiply 14.8 by 5, you will get 64, a whole number.

Note that 14.8 can be written as 14 + 4/5 =74/5

74/5  x 5/74 (its reciprocal and any multiples of its reciprocal, 10/74, 15/74, 20/74......etc. will give you all natural numbers from 1, 2, 3, 4........etc.).

I'm sorry, but there was a typo in the first answer posted. 14.8 x 5 = 74

Here is a list to help you get started with this kind of multiplication.

14.8 x 5 = 74

14.8 x 10 = 148

14.8 x 15 = 222

14.8 x 20 = 296

14.8 x 30 =444

14.8 x 35 = 518

14.8 x 40 = 592

So hopefully by now, you can see a pattern. Simply skip count by fives and multiply times 14.8 and you will get a whole number each time!
