14-b=19, what is b?

First do 19-14 and then add a minus sign to the start of the answer. The number you are left with is b.

Ok.

Switch the problem so it could look like this:

$$19-14=b$$

Now, subtract.

$$19-14=5$$

Now, change the problem back to its original form:

$$14-5=19$$

Because the postive 5 making the statement false, put the negative symbol behing the 5.

$$-{\mathtt{5}}$$

Now, put the equation with -5.

$$14-(-5)=19$$

So,  $$\boxed{b=-5}$$ .

There is another way to solve this. if you are confused, just ask, and I will give an easier explanation.

Sorry I'm not answering your question but asking for help here cuz I can't post a question ! First I had hard time logging in and now a hard time posting a question so what's going on with the site ? And btw my phones perfectly fine , this is the first time such problems r occurring like if I post a question or go to messages it says 500 InternalServer Not Found or something like that so what do I do ?
