√(x+2)^3=24/3

(x+2)^3=8^5

(x+2)^3=32768

(x+2)=cube root of 32768

x+2=32

x=32-2

x=30

√2x+13 -5=x

√2x+13=x+5

2x+13=(x+5)^2

2x+13=(x+5)(x+5)

2x+13=x^2+5x+5x+25

2x+13=x^2+10x+25

2x=x^2+10x+25-13

2x=x^2+10x+12

x=x^2+10x+12/2

x=0.5x^2+5x+6

Set each factor to 0 and solve for x and we have that

x =  -6     or   x = - 2

The first solution does not solve the original equation
