a.What percent of the 6th grade class voted to have the party on the second?
b.there are 355 6th graders at oceanview middle school.
1.How any voted for having the party on the third?
2. How many voted for having the party on the second?
3. The planning committee is expecting 80% of the class to attend the party. How many students are they expecting?
a. all you have to do is subtract 62 from 100 so 38% of the 6th grade class voted to have the party on the second
b1. well i thought to solve this one you would multiply 355 and .62 together but that equals 220.1 and you cant have .1 of a kid... so im not sure about b1
b2. subtract b1 from 355
3. i did 355 x .80 and you get 284 students
i appoligize ahead of time if i did anything wrong!
