2. Create an arithmetic sequence up to 5 terms.

OK...we just get to make it up   

   Let's set a1 = 5

      and d=3

 

a1 = 5

a2 = 5 +3 = 8

a3 = 5+3+3  = 11

a4 = 5 +3+3+3 =14

a5 = 5 +3+3+3+3 = 17

 

an = 5 + (3)(n-1)

 

Edited...... Thanx CPhill for pointing out I answered with a GEOMETRIC series rather than an Arithmetic series !!!
