1)

What is the period of the function f(x) shown in the graph?

2)

The table of values shows the height of a car of a Ferris wheel as it travels in a circular motion.

Which statements are true?

Select each correct answer. (Can choose more than one.)

(A) The radius of the Ferris wheel is 25 yd.

(B) If the car is loaded at 0 s, then people are loaded at the lowest height of the Ferris wheel.

(C) The maximum height of the Ferris wheel above ground is 50 yd.

(D) The car makes a complete revolution in 12 s.

Time(seconds)Height (yards)
030
355
630
95
1230
1555
1830
215

I believe one of the answers for Question 2 is (D) but not positive.

Thank you so much for all your help!!!!!!!!!!!

First one

The period is     2pi - (-6pi)   =  8pi

Second one

A) The max ht = 55   and the min ht = 5

So...the radius =   (55 - 5) / 2   =   50 / 2  =  25 m      .....so ...TRUE!!

B) False....the car is loded at its min ht of 5....at 0 sec the ht = 30 m

C ) False....the max ht =  55m

D) TRUE !!!
