Which one is it   ???

The second problem was the one I needed help with. For the first problem, the answer will be 4/3 which is greater than one and would result in an image larger than the original.

Second one

The scale  factor is  3/4

We can prove this with the following :

4/ x  = 3/y

4/6 = 3/y

2/3 = 3 / y     rearrange as

y = 3 /(2/3)

y = 3*3/ 2

y = 9/2

y = 4.5

And  note  that   4 * (3/4)  =  3

And 6  * (3/4)  =  18/4 = 9/2 =  4.5
