9^x=27^x+1 solve

9^x = 27^x+1

Rewrite: 3^2x = 3^3(x+1) -->

2x = 3(x+1) -->

2x = 3x + 3 -->

-3 = x --> 

x = -3.

Aziz chooses to solve the equation 9^x=27^x+1, for which his answer x = -3 is correct, rather than the actual given equation, 9^x=27^x+1, which has no real number solution.

Actually, Anonymous, it's sometimes hard to determine what is being asked !!! The lack of parentheses, brackets, etc., is sometimes troublesome.

I'll give Aziz the benefit of the doubt, here.  Besides, he may have answered the exact question that was being asked.....

I often answer the exact question.

I figure that if i answer the question that they ask and it is not the question that they want then they are more likely to learn to present their questions properly!

Actually, Aziz has not ansered the question that was asked at all!  He had answered the queston that was most likely intended.  But not the one that was asked.

I'm with anonymous on this one - but I'd give some credit to both answers - they both got thumbs up from me.
