A bag contains marbles of three different colors with at least three marbles of each color. Three marbles are randomly selected, without replacement. How many different color combinations are possible? (Note: ``red, red, blue" and ``red, blue, red" are the same combination.)

Thanks!

If the colors are red, blue, and green, you could get

1) three reds

2) three blues

3) three greens

4) two reds and a blue

5) two reds and a green

6) two blues and a red

7) two blues and a green

8) two greens and a red

9) two green and a blue

10) one of each.

There are 10 possiblities.

3 of the same colour

3*2 = 6 of (2 colour,1 colour)

1 of all colour

3+6+1=10
