A ball is thrown horizontally from the top ofa building 34.2 m high. The ball strikes theground at a point 56.4 m from the base of thebuilding.The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s2.Find the time the ball is in motion.Answer in units of s.015 (part 2 of 4) 10.0 pointsFind the initial velocity of the ball.Answer in units of m/s.016 (part 3 of 4) 10.0 pointsFind the x component of its velocity just be-fore it strikes the ground.Answer in units of m/s.017 (part 4 of 4) 10.0 pointsFind the y component of its velocity just be-fore it strikes the ground.Answer in units of m/s

Start by finding the time in the air

x = xo + vo t - 1/2 at^2

34.2 = 0 + 0t - 1/2 (9.81) t^2     solve for 't'

   and continue.......
